Beyond the Bean
The Client:
Beyond the Bean are an independent Bristol-based business, serving the coffee industry with everything but beans and machines. With a portfolio of brands, their products are enjoyed by customers around the world.
The Work:
I worked with Beyond the Bean as a Marketing Executive then Marketing Manager from 2016-2019. I supported with the creation of in-house artwork and comms, working closely with the sales team to deliver bespoke marketing materials for customers, branded presentations, product launches, trade shows and seasonal drinks workshops.

I joined BTB just as they were preparing to launch a cocktail syrup brand called Bristol Syrup Company. This meant I was involved in the development of the brand, working with an agency to create our branding and website and project managing the launch of the brand.

BTB's Sweetbird brand was rebranded in 2018-2019 by Carruthers Tanner. I was involved in this rebrand, working with internal and external parties to update all label artwork and marketing materials.

Make guides were a really important resource for BTB to showing how to use their products. I helped to either artwork or create these in-house.

The Sweetbird Flavour Focus was a recipe sheet that I developed and then designed each month. This became a useful resource for customers, featuring industry insight, drinks recipes and click-through links to how-to-make videos.

Drinking Thinking Calendars - These were based on an existing design template that I developed each year, adding new features such as key marketing dates, a scoop guide (helpful for customers making drinks), and space to write goals and recipe notes.
