Working on your business.

For my first blog post I thought I’d address something that I’ve struggled with. I love working with clients to develop their businesses but always struggled to find the same enthusiasm for own business. I have been freelance for two years in June 2021, It took a pandemic and losing all my work in March 2020 to decide it was probably time to make myself a website. It took another year to realise that an average website and no brand is not acceptable when my whole business is based on creating strong brands and clear comms! The funny thing is - the website took me around 20hrs to build. Imagine if I had done this sooner!?

I am a member of Indie Roller group - don’t utilise enough but something that keeps coming up from Leona is working ON your business not just IN it. With the busy day-to-day it can be easy to feel your focus should be on the most important thing at that time but this is also important…etc.

In the words of Ru Paul - if you don’t love yourself how the hell are you going to love anyone else…..
